Player Development Model
Cape Cod Comebacks will be joining the “BEAST” league. This league is a hybrid - in league regular season and playoff set up with a series of showcases as well. We will be starting with U13-through U18 AAA teams for the 2026-2027 season. Both half season and full season. We will be holding two practices a week and play all tournaments and league play. Players and parents may choose if they would like to participate in full season or half season. Located in the Northeast region of the United States, the BEAST Series established itself as the top league for U18, U16, U15, U14, & U13. Simply put, the BEAST league has set a new standard, and this is proven through both NCAA Commitments and National Championships.
the Beast Series (often referred to as the Beast Tournament Series) is generally considered a strong and respected youth hockey league, especially for player development and exposure. It has grown quickly into a popular showcase and league circuit in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with many teams competing at high levels across U13–U18 age groups. The league has seen hundreds of NCAA commitments, with a large percentage advancing to Division I programs, and has a reputation for helping players get noticed by college coaches and junior scouts.
Historically, events within the Beast Series, including playoff tournaments, have drawn attention from college coaches, junior scouts, and other talent evaluators, which supports its status as a scouted and competitive environment for serious players.
In short, while every player’s experience can vary by team and age group, the Beast Series is widely viewed as a good league for competition and exposure within youth hockey.
The BEAST Tournament Series has seen over 500 players make their NCAA Commitments, with over 95% of these players advancing to Division I colleges and universities.
The BEAST Tournament Series has also seen many players advance to play at the highest levels of junior hockey in both the United States and Canada.
